No one feels like or comfortable to meet or communicate with someone without the photo in their profile in any online dating site . After all it is online dating and your profiles shows who you are therefore users must be forced to upload at least one photo after reiteration and email confirmation to use any free features on the site and if wanted to use messaging or paid features must upload at least 3 photos which prevents them from fake and copying photo from internet in some degree. So no photo no date simple as that.
